Hosting Facility

All of our vihn.net packages include website hosting, global database access, and email forwarding.

We have multiple servers located in a secure facility in Portland, Oregon. This multi-million- dollar facility is backed up by multiple layers of security, reliability, and protection. The data centers have been engineered to avoid any single point of failure in connectivity, power. Power systems are designed to run uninterrupted in the unlikely event of a total power outage. Dedicated 3,600-amp electrical service is provided into dual, 300KVA UPS systems which are backed up by a 600KVA diesel generator. Redundant 30-ton HVAC units with humidity control circulate and filter air once every 90 seconds to remove dust and contaminants. The data center is equipped with a Fenwal laser-based high-sensitivity smoke and heat detection system, as well as a pre-action water-based fire suppression system to be used in the unlikely event that one would start. The facility is monitored for intrusion detection with internal alarming and an external security service. With built-in redundancy at every turn, the network virtually eliminates the risk of a single point of failure.
